The “Make a Wish” Foundation helped the 11-year-old Emirati girl Lulwa to own a home library that includes many of her favorite books and stories.
Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO of the Foundation, said: “There are many surprises and wishes for children. The mere desire of a sick child to satisfy her passion for reading and continue learning is admirable. Education ranks with success and excellence.
Al-Zubaidi thanked Dr. Fatima Al-Buraiki, owner of Dar Sama for publishing, production and distribution, and Arabic language expert for early childhood programs, for donating the books.
He added: “Lulwa participated in the journey of fulfilling her wish, as she rushed to provide us with her favorite drawings and colors, with an overwhelming desire to see books fill the shelves, and thanks to the benevolent hands, we were able to fulfill this dear wish on her heart.”
The girl said: “I would like to thank Her Highness Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif, Honorary President of the Foundation and all its employees for making my wish come true. I say to all sick children, whether in hospitals or at home, that there is nothing impossible.”
