Red Bull unveils white livery in Turkey in honor of Honda

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Austrian brand announced that it will use a new white livery on the Istanbul Park circuit, after Honda was supposed to participate in the Japanese Suzuka circuit for the last time, before the repercussions of the Corona pandemic caused the race to be canceled and replaced with a tour in Turkey.

After a teaser video of the color livery was published in the previous ad, Red Bull has now revealed the colors in full with the Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez cars.

The color scheme of the livery maintains the Red Bull branding, but in general it is mainly white.

Driver numbers will appear in a red circle, similar to the flag of Japan.

Both Alfa Tauri cars will have the word “arigato”, which means “thank you” in Japanese, on the rear spoiler of both cars in Turkey.

Honda will leave F1 at the end of the season, after an excellent partnership with Red Bull, which is currently in a very close battle against Mercedes for the 2021 title.

Honda returned to F1 in 2015 with McLaren, but struggled during the three years that made up the partnership, before later switching to supplying Red Bull with engines with Toro Rosso initially in the 2018 season and then Red Bull Racing starting in 2019.

Verstappen heads to Turkey, seeking his eighth victory and trying to regain the lead in the general standings from Lewis Hamilton.
