The Permanent Military Court headed by Brigadier General P.S.C. Mounir Shehadeh issued rulings against a group of seven people who, in a history that did not pass by time, stole weapons and military munitions, according to a representative of the National News Agency.
The text of the judgments states that, on Lebanese soil, and in the army’s intelligence branch in the south, the former Corporal Hussein A. H. stole a large quantity of princely arms and war munitions from within a battalion, and sold them to the defendants: Ali A. A., Nader. A, Hussein.H, Bahaa.S., Jamil.M. and Muhammad.H, in violation of military instructions, and the rest of the defendants traded these weapons, and the seventh possessed military materiel.
The rulings imposed a sentence of hard labor for a period of seven years against the former Corporal Hussein A. H. and stripped him of his civil rights, and imprisoned Ali A., Nader. A. and Hussein. H for a period of one month and obligated each of them to present a war rifle, and Muhammad A. H. was imprisoned for a period of time. Two months and obligating him to present a military rifle, and imprisoning Baha.S for a year and obliging him to submit a military rifle, while the court declared Jamil.M innocent of doubt and insufficient evidence.
