The Department of Meteorology at the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expected the weather tomorrow to be clear to a few clouds, with an additional and noticeable rise in temperatures and low humidity, and warns of the risk of fires in forested areas.
It was stated in the following bulletin:
General status: stable and relatively hot autumn weather dominates the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, with temperatures above their seasonal rates until Sunday, when they return to their seasonal rates.
(The average temperature on the coast for the month of October is between 21 and 29)
– Expected weather in Lebanon:
Thursday: Few clouds with a rise in temperatures as they exceed their seasonal rates, as the humidity drops and the winds are active during the night.
Friday: Clear to partly cloudy with an additional and noticeable rise in temperature and low humidity, and warns of the risk of fires in forested areas.
Saturday: A few clouds with the onset of low temperatures and high humidity, and local fog will also form on the heights during the night.
Sunday: Few clouds in general, with a decrease in temperatures, as they return to their seasonal rates, and fog forms on the heights.
– The temperature on the coast is from 20 to 34 degrees, over the mountains from 14 to 28 degrees, indoors from 13 to 33 degrees.
– Surface wind: northwesterly to northerly during the day, northeasterly to easterly at night, active at times, speed between 15 and 35 km/hr.
– relative humidity on the coast: between 35 and 55%
Sea condition: average wave height to wavy during the night, water surface temperature: 28 degrees.
