Wael Gomaa, the director of the Egypt national team, revealed that the date of the team’s travel to Libya on a private plane has been changed for the return leg on October 11.
And Juma’a added, in statements to the “Bulldozer Stadium” program, that the travel will be at five in the evening next Saturday, and not at five in the morning of the same day.
Wael Gomaa said that the national team goalkeeper, Mohamed El-Shennawy, will participate in the next training session completely and naturally.
Gomaa explained that the scans proved the safety of international goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawy, and he is ready for the Libya match next Friday, and there is no need to worry.
The Egyptian team is preparing to face its Libyan counterpart in the third and fourth rounds of the sixth group of African qualifiers for the World Cup, where they will play on the eighth of next October in Egypt, while the second match will be held in Libya on the 11th of the same month.
Egypt ranks second in the group with four points, two points behind Libya, the group leader, while Gabon is third with one point, and Angola is at the bottom of the standings without a balance of points.
