Samaria Council Chairman: “If construction is frozen, the government will not exist”

The head of the Samaria Council, Yossi Dagan, responds this morning (Thursday) to reports that the Biden past has demanded that Prime Minister Naftali Bennett reduce construction in Judea and Samaria.

Dagan threatens that surrendering to any pressure will end the government’s term: “Construction in the Land of Israel and of course in Judea and Samaria is only in the hands of the Israeli government and not in the hands of any foreign government. “Freezing or” restraining “its construction will end the government’s tenure.”

Dagan also wanted to mention that the address to the finger of blame is Prime Minister Bennett and not Biden: “The ball has always been in Jerusalem, never in Washington. The one who decides is Naftali Bennett and not Joe Biden. The prime minister has the historic right and opportunity to build Israel everywhere “Certainly in Samaria and Judea, and the people expect him to do so without receiving the articles. The responsibility for Zionism lies with him and the government.”

According to reports, last week the Biden administration sent a message to the Prime Minister’s Office requesting restraining new construction in settlement in Judea and Samaria: Acting US Ambassador to Jerusalem spoke with Bennett’s advisers and clarified that the president wants to see a reduction in construction. A date has been set for the convening of the committee that approves planning and construction in the settlements
