Argentine Lionel Messi has confirmed that he did not make a mistake in leaving Barcelona and moving to Paris Saint-Germain.

Messi joined Saint-Germain after Barcelona was unable to renew the contract with the six-time Ballon d’Or winner due to the club’s financial crisis.
Messi won 35 trophies at Camp Nou, and scored 672 goals for the team in all competitions.
Having begun to get used to the atmosphere in the French capital with Saint-Germain, Messi said he was happy with his decision.
“I did nothing wrong by moving to Saint-Germain,” Messi told France Football in excerpts from his interview, which will be published on Saturday.
Since his move to Saint-Germain, Messi scored one goal, in the match that the team defeated Manchester City 2-0 in the Champions League.
Messi is still looking to score his first goal in the French League, which saw Saint-Germain fall into the trap of a shock 0-2 loss against Rennes last week.
This loss halted Saint-Germain’s winning streak, after winning eight consecutive victories, but Messi’s team still leads the standings by six points from its closest rivals after nine rounds.
