Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The announcement of the death of Major General Badah Al-Fagham, who was the bodyguard of the late Saudi King, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, emerged among activists on social media.
The death was announced, on Wednesday evening, as the official Saudi Press Agency reported that “His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, acting governor of the Riyadh region, performed the funeral prayer today (Wednesday) after the evening prayer on Badah bin Abdullah Al-Fagham – may God have mercy on him – at the mosque. Al-Rajhi in Riyadh.
The Saudi Agency added that “he performed the prayer with His Royal Highness Prince Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, His Excellency the Adviser in the Royal Court, member of the Council of Senior Scholars Sheikh Dr. Saad bin Nasser Al-Shathri, and a number of officials and a group of citizens.”
And the Saudi Agency stated that Prince Muhammad bin Abdulrahman “presented condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased, asking God Almighty to bless him with his vast mercy and dwell in his vast gardens and to inspire them patience and solace.”
