On his arrival in Beirut, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian affirmed that “the Islamic Republic of Iran, as it was, will always stand firmly and firmly by the side of the brotherly Lebanese Republic, in order to break the unjust siege imposed on it at such a sensitive stage in its history. Abstain from any matter in the field of assistance and support to Lebanon in the event of any request for assistance provided in this framework.
He pointed out that “I am fully confident that just as the honorable Lebanese people were able to overcome the difficult stages they went through, God willing, at this stage they will also be able to overcome the difficulties they are experiencing.”
Abdullahian begins his visit to Lebanon by meeting President Michel Aoun, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, and Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
He will meet with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abdullah Bu Habib, and hold meetings at the Iranian embassy with representatives of Palestinian factions and forces.
