Amir Abdullahian from Beirut: We will never be stingy in helping Lebanon

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran will under no circumstances be stingy in assisting and supporting Lebanon if any assistance is requested of it.

He stressed in a press conference upon his arrival at Beirut airport that “Lebanon will be able to overcome all the difficulties it is experiencing, just as the brotherly Lebanese people have overcome all the difficult stages they have gone through.”

Today, Thursday, Lebanese President Michel Aoun received Iranian Foreign Minister, at Baabda Palace.

Reporter reported fields That Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian arrived in Beirut yesterday, Wednesday, from Moscow.

It is noteworthy that Amir Abdullahian will meet with a number of Lebanese officials during the visit.

Yesterday, Amir Abdullahian announced, “the signing of a document for strategic cooperation between Iran and Russia soon.”

He also stressed, during a joint press conference in Moscow with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, that “Iran and Russia have identical positions on regional issues.”

Meanwhile, a reporter revealed fields, yesterday Wednesday, The Iranian Foreign Minister announced his readiness to go to Baku to “enhance confidence” between the two countries.

Our correspondent also reported that “Emir Abdollahian invited his Azerbaijani counterpart to visit Tehran from Moscow.”
