Riyadh – (DPA):

A spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced today, Sunday, Hisham Saeed, that more than 30 million pilgrims, citizens, residents and those coming from abroad, have been able to perform Umrah with ease and ease since the launch of the safe Umrah model until now.

Saeed said, in a press conference today, Sunday: “We served more than 120 thousand beneficiaries of the pilgrims in the comprehensive service centers (Enaya) from various visas, in addition to citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia while they were in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.”

He pointed out that the ministry monitored, during the last month, more than 21,000 Umrah visas for those coming from outside the Kingdom, which indicates the increase in demand rates for those coming from abroad and their commitment to the health requirements set by the ministry.

Saeed stressed that until this moment, the ministry has not detected any infection with the Corona virus among the pilgrims, indicating that it is continuing to preserve this gain.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah explained that an increase in the capacity of pilgrims and worshipers in the Great Mosque of Mecca will be announced until we reach the objectives of the strategic plans and mechanisms.
