His Excellency reviewed the new advantages and incentives provided by the business environment in the UAE with the launch of the fifty projects and the enhancement of openness and flexibility in its economic environment and its trade and investment policies, and allowing foreign investors to own companies by 100%, stressing the importance of working to achieve the greatest possible benefit from the opportunities available in the two countries’ markets and the strategic location of each From them, the UAE represents a vital trade gateway for Slovenian industries to enter the Asian and Middle Eastern markets, while Slovenia is a prominent destination in Eastern Europe.

For his part, His Excellency Zdravko Pokivalsik stressed his country’s keenness to consolidate economic cooperation with the UAE and develop their partnership to more advanced horizons in all development sectors of common interest, especially areas related to the digital economy, which open up broader horizons for future partnerships at the level of government institutions and the private sector, expressing He expressed his hopes to hold a joint economic forum between the two countries in conjunction with Slovenia’s celebration of its National Day next February on the sidelines of Expo 2020 Dubai, pointing to his country’s active participation in the Expo, where its pavilion organizes more than 11 conferences and business forums during the period of the exhibition.
