The Israel Land Authority (RMI) and the Ministry of Tourism today (Sunday) published a tender for the marketing of seven hotels and resorts in the Dead Sea, in the area of the Tamar Regional Council. 2018 and covers a total area of about 3,962 dunams and includes an addition to the existing hotels and construction of additional hotels to create a capacity of about 9,050 rooms, in 33 hotels.
Complexes 1-6 are intended for hotels and Complex 7 is intended for hotels and a tourist attraction on the water. In the tender, the Israel Land Authority invites the public of developers to submit proposals for the signing of a 4-year development contract, following which a lease will be signed for a period of 98 years, with an option to extend for another 98 years.
The cheapest plot in this tender, which covers an area of 43 dunams, is offered at a starting price of NIS 14,268,000 and 253 hotel accommodation units can be built on it. The price includes the consideration on the land and development expenses.
