The main Saudi stock index closed today, down 42.51 points, to close at 11453.25 points, with transactions worth 8.4 billion riyals.
The volume of traded shares – according to the daily economic bulletin of the Saudi News Agency for the Saudi stock market – reached 180 million shares, shared by more than 370 thousand deals, in which the shares of 57 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 127 companies closed down.
The shares of Arab Internet and Communications Services, Naseej, Seera, and Catering companies were the highest gainers, while the shares of Sipchem International, the Saudi Group, Saudi Telecom, Aseer, and Al Moammar Information Systems were the lowest in trading, as the rise and fall rates ranged between 11.11% and 4.22%.
While the shares of Seera, Saudi Kayan, Arabia for Internet and Communications Services, Dar Al-Arkan, and Alinma were the most active in terms of quantity, while shares of Arabia for Internet and Communications Services, Seera, Al-Rajhi, Saudi Kayan, and Naseej were the most active in value.
The Saudi Parallel Shares Index (Nomu) closed today, up 34.33 points, to close at 23686.65 points, with transactions worth 29 million riyals, and the volume of traded shares reached more than 280,000 shares, shared by 1327 deals.
