A Saudi girl, a graduate of the College of Business at King Khalid University, has invented a medical device to measure the level of diabetes in the blood instead of using lancets.

According to Al-Madina, the girl Rafif Al-Shahrani said that her innovation is characterized by several things, including measuring diabetes without the need to take blood samples, presenting the examination and knowing the result, alleviating the suffering of patients from pricking needles, and helping them to check on their health with ease and ease.

She added that the idea of ​​​​inventing it began when a patient was afraid of a needle prick while checking her blood sugar level, noting that her family and specialists during the study provided her with adequate support.

She pointed out that she had won many awards through her participation in several internal and external exhibitions and competitions, including the Geneva International Fair, the Kiwi World Fair in Korea – Seoul, and the GCC Universities and Institutes Forum.
