Her husband, Rabbi Shmuel Hefer, who died about a year and a half ago, on the 17th of Nisan 5764, along with being chairman of Beit Rivka College in Kfar Chabad, served as deputy chairman of the Chabad Chassidim Association in Israel and chairman of the Committee for Integrity of the people, and received many guidance and missions from the Rebbe. The late Mrs. Rivka Hefer, was privileged to stand to the right of her husband in the enterprise of his life as the founder of the ‘House of Rebecca’ and other great endeavors of his life in the Rebbe’s mission, with great modesty and devotion.
She is survived by her children: Rabbi Moshe Halevi Hefer, director of Beit Rivka College, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hefer.
The funeral will depart at 17:00 from her home at 9 Rashbam Street in Bnei Brak and from there will continue at 17:15 near the Chabad Synagogue on Rashi Street in Bnei Brak, at 18:15 at Beit Rivka’s Kfar Chabad B and at 19:00 : 30 at the Shamgar Funeral Home in Jerusalem.
