Abu Dhabi (Urdu Point Network – October 03, 2021A) The “Antelope Group Art Group” pavilion, supported by the “Khalifa Fund for Projects Support”, is filled with a variety of fine art works executed by young Emirati artists affiliated with the “Antelope Art Group” team, which It was formed in the year 2020 with the aim of creating an artistic umbrella that brings together the works of dozens of Emirati talents, both professional and novice.
The pavilion included 30 portraits of important personalities and pictures of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, from the fifties and sixties of the last century, and a large collection of pictures of their Highnesses, the sheikhs of the Emirates.
Emirati artist Suhail Saeed Al Rashidi, one of the members of the “Antelope Group for Arts”, explained that the idea grew in his mind with the beginning of the Corona pandemic, so he presented it to a group of artists close to him, who encouraged him to the idea and showed great enthusiasm to support and participate in it, so that many young Emirati artists of various colors and art schools gathered under This nascent umbrella.
Al-Rashidi pointed out that gathering artists with different visions under one umbrella was somewhat difficult, but they were able to overcome this challenge and succeeded in gathering 17 artists and talents from all emirates of the country.
He added that the team focused at the beginning of its formation on drawing portraits of His Highness the sheikhs because these paintings received a great demand from all the people of the Emirates to decorate their councils, companies and offices, pointing out that the team will focus in the next stage on drawing horses, camels, falcons and other elements of Emirati heritage.
Al-Rashidi stressed that the future stage of the group will witness a great diversity of works to represent the identity and school of each artist in order to diversify the product and address all tastes and interests, as the team members seek to produce works that represent all types of arts and different schools.
He noted that the team greatly supports Emirati talents, since the talent has been entered into training workshops by local and foreign professionals representing different schools and artistic colors.
The members and organizers of the “Antelope Art Group” aspire to participate with their works in all exhibitions held in the country, such as the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, Abu Dhabi Art Exhibition, Dubai Art Exhibition, book fairs in the country and other art platforms.
Al Rashidi confirmed that the group members benefited greatly from participating in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, which represented an important platform for them to present their work for the first time in front of thousands of audience.
