The Ministry of Manpower revealed the fact that work visas are issued for Egyptians to travel to Qatar and the UAE at the present time.
According to today’s statement, this came in an urgent report received by Mohamed Saafan, Minister of Manpower, from the Ministry’s Labor Representation Office at the Egyptian Embassy in the State of Qatar, denying the publication of job advertisements for different professions in the State of Qatar, on social media.
Labor Attaché Khaled Fathi Al-Daihy, head of the labor representation office in the State of Qatar, said that the State of Qatar does not issue work visas to Egyptian workers at the present time, noting that a picture of a “fake” work visa was detected with the name of a person and his nationality Egyptian and published on one of the groups. “what’s up”.
In the same context, the Minister received a report from the Labor Attaché Hanan Shaheen, Head of the Labor Representation Office of the Ministry at the Egyptian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, stating that he was examining the inquiry of a citizen named “Sameh El-Shinawy” regarding the validity of a job offer he obtained online to work in an oil company, It was found that the offer was incorrect and that the company was fake, and the citizen was made aware of the legal systems used for contracting in the UAE.
The Minister of Manpower called on the Egyptian youth to verify and review work contracts with the Ministry of Manpower or its labor representation offices in Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad to ensure their validity, in order to preserve their rights, and not to fall prey to fraud.
