Rached Ghannouchi, Speaker of the Tunisian House of Representatives, said today, Friday, that the parliament, which the country’s president decided to suspend, is in permanent session, calling on the representatives to resume sessions.

Ghannouchi, the leader of the moderate Islamist Ennahda party, said in a tweet on
Twitter: “The office of the House of People’s Representatives is in permanent session.”
