A tourist police patrol, based on the decision of the Minister of Tourism, Walid Nassar, closed the nightclub in which a problem occurred and was hit with machetes, in the Mkalles area a few days ago, with red wax, as a video documenting the problem had spread through the media and social media.

The tourist police also closed an office in the Tripoli region, which, in violation of the laws, engages in tourism and travel activities, without the required licenses from the ministry.

The Ministry of Tourism, in a statement, warned all tourist establishments, of all kinds, against working in violation of and without obtaining the necessary licenses, under the threat of closure and legal prosecution, recalling the circular issued by it of the need to settle their legal status, within the time limit mentioned in the circular.
