The Egyptian Football Association revealed the Egyptian national team’s line-up for the match held today, Friday, against the Libyan national team, in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers to be held in Qatar.
The list includes goalkeepers Mohamed El-Shennawy, Mohamed Abu Jabal, Mohamed Sobhi and Mohamed Bassam, while defenders are Ahmed Fattouh, Ayman Ashraf, Mahmoud Hamdi “Al-Wensh”, Yasser Ibrahim, Ahmed Hegazy, Baher El-Mohammadi, Akram Tawfiq and Ahmed Fathi.
The list of midfielders includes Mohamed Salah, Mohamed Elneny, Amr Al-Sulayya, Tariq Hamed, Hamdi Fathi, Ibrahim Adel, Abdullah Al-Saeed, Ramadan Sobhi, Omar Marmoush and Ahmed Sayed “Zizou”.
While Ahmed Hassan “Koka” and Mustafa Mohamed will take over the task of attacking during the match.
The Portuguese, Carlos Queiroz, leads the Egyptian national football team for the first time in its match with Libya.
It is noteworthy that the match between Egypt and Libya comes within the competitions of the third round of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which will be held at the Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria, on the eighth of this month, October, and immediately after the return match of the fourth round to be held in Libya, on the 11 of the same month.
The Libyan team leads the standings of Group F in the World Cup qualifiers, with 6 points, followed by the Egyptian team with 4 points, then Gabon with one point, and Angola comes in fourth place without a balance of points.
