Today, Friday, Saudi Arabia stipulated that citizens and residents in the Kingdom receive two doses of the Corona vaccine to participate in public activities, ride public transportation, and enter official government facilities starting from the tenth of this month (October).
An official in the Ministry of Interior explained that it is a reference to what was previously announced regarding the requirement for vaccination (with a minimum dose) starting from the first of August 2021 AD, in order to enter government, private and educational activities, events and facilities and the use of public transportation, and based on what the health authorities submitted about what was proven in the The competent national and international scientific authorities stressed the importance of completing the doses of the approved vaccine to control the outbreak of the Corona virus, especially the mutated strains of it, and it was decided the following:
First: Requiring immunization with two doses of approved vaccines starting at six in the morning on Sunday Rabi’ al-Awwal 4, 1443 AH corresponding to October 10, 2021 AD, in order to practice the following activities:
1- Participate in or engage in any economic, commercial, cultural, recreational, sports or tourism activity.
2- Participation in any cultural, scientific, social or entertainment event.
3- Entering any governmental or private establishment, whether to perform business or audit.
4- Ride on planes and public transportation.
However, the ministry clarified that there are some who are excluded from this condition, and they themselves are mentioned among the categories excluded from taking the vaccine, according to what the “Tawakulna” application explains.
In addition, the source stressed the need for everyone to adhere to the precautionary measures, preventive measures and approved protocols, and not to be lenient in that.
He also made it clear that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous evaluation by the competent health authorities, according to the developments in the epidemiological situation.
