The technical staff of the Egyptian national football team, led by the Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, announced the exclusion of Al-Ahly club star Mohamed Magdy Afsha, and its top scorer Mohamed Sharif from the list that will play the important Libya match on October 8 in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

Mustafa Fathi, Ahmed Yasser Rayan, Muhannad Lashin, Sam Morsi, Karim Hafez, Ahmed Tawfiq and Ali Gabr were also excluded, while Yasser Ibrahim and Ahmed Fathi were also excluded.

Goalkeepers: Mohamed El-Shennawy, Mohamed Abu Jabal, Mohamed Bassam and Mohamed Sobhi.

Defense lines: Akram Tawfiq, Ahmed Fathi, Ahmed Hegazy, Baher Al-Mohammadi, Mahmoud Hamdi “Al Wensh”, Yasser Ibrahim, Ahmed Abu Al-Fotouh and Ayman Ashraf.

Midfield: Mohamed Elneny, Amr Al-Sulayya, Tariq Hamed, Hamdi Fathi, Ahmed Sayed “Zizou”, Abdullah Al-Saeed, Ibrahim Adel, Ramadan Sobhi and Omar Marmoush.

Forwards: Ahmed Hassan Koca, Mostafa Mohamed and Mohamed Salah.
