Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, said that the Riyadh International Book Fair enriches the Arab cultural scene and garners global attention as a window to view the output of human thought in various fields of knowledge.
The artist, Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture of Egypt, and Dr. Hassan Nazim, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities in the Republic of Iraq, State Guest of Honor, Atef Abu Seif, Minister of Palestinian Culture, participated in the opening of the activities of the Riyadh Book Fair, which was inaugurated by Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Abdel Dayem added that the exhibition has become a platform for dialogue between thinkers, writers and the public throughout its previous sessions, after it succeeded in enriching specialized forums regionally and creating an environment that stimulates creativity.
The Minister also referred to the development of the authorship and publishing movement in the Kingdom, which has become an attractive factor for institutions, publishing houses and authors to put their productions there.
