All his days he observed moral orders, and would prolong his prayers in a special way, he would pray at the Ponivez Yeshiva on the holy days and on Shabbat. On weekdays, the priest was in the quorum of Garach Kanievsky Benz Hama at the Lederman Synagogue in Bnei Brak.
He beat Torah and reverence in several places, as well as at the yeshiva of his brother Rabbi David Katz, head of the Mishkan Yaakov yeshiva in Haifa, where he would travel to beat Torah and reverence.
