A 5-year-old boy fell tonight (Friday) from the roof of a four-story building in Netivot and was seriously injured. An MDA team that was called to the scene evacuated him to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva with a head injury when his condition was unstable and he was anesthetized and respirated. The circumstances of the case are being investigated.
MDA paramedic Andrei Vasco said: “There was a lot of commotion at the place. The boy, who fell from a height of several floors, was lying on the floor unconscious and suffering severe injuries to all parts of his body. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment that included anesthesia and resuscitation and evacuated him to the hospital when his condition was serious and unstable. “
Soroka Hospital said the boy was admitted to the emergency room while anesthetized and respirated and transferred for imaging tests.
