Al-Ahram National newspaper included, in its issue issued today, Friday, October 1, 2021, an advertisement stating that an apartment owned by the artist Faten Hamama in the Liboun Building was auctioned, with the session to be held on October 27.
The apartment that was owned by the artist Faten Hamama and lived in it for a period of her life, including the years of her marriage to the artist Omar Sharif, overlooks the Nile and the fish garden on Jabalia Street in Zamalek.
The Libon Building is one of the most famous buildings in Cairo, inhabited by a large number of art stars, who were brought together by neighbors for many years, as Faten was not the only one who lived in this building. Muharram Fouad, according to an article by journalist Salah Montaser in Al-Ahram newspaper.
