The Ministry of the Interior had announced the requirement of immunization in two doses to enter public and social activities and occasions, government, private and educational facilities and the use of public transportation, after referring to the competent national and international scientific authorities of the importance of completing doses of the approved vaccine to control the spread of the virus, especially the mutated strains of it, provided that Executing from October 10th.

And 8 months ago from today, specifically on February 4, 2021, the Ministry of Interior announced the suspension of all events and parties, including wedding parties, corporate meetings, and the like, in banquet halls and independent or affiliated wedding halls of hotels, as well as in rest houses and camps that are used for these purposes, and that This is for a period of 30 days.
The decision was renewed on March 6, to prevent any new epidemic outbreak, but the new decision abolished the one in force and stipulated the two doses to reopen the halls and receive citizens on occasions and weddings.
The Ministry of Interior stipulated immunization with two doses of approved vaccines starting at six in the morning on Sunday 4 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1443 AH corresponding to October 10, 2021 AD, with regard to the following:
1- Entering any economic, commercial, cultural, recreational, sports or tourism activity.
2- Entering any cultural, scientific, social or recreational event.
3- Entering any governmental or private establishment, whether to perform business or audit.
4- Ride on planes and public transportation.
Second: Excluded from the above in item (First); Categories excluded from taking the vaccine, according to what appears in the “Tawakkalna” application.
A source at the Ministry of Interior stressed the need for everyone to adhere to the precautionary measures, preventive measures and approved protocols, and not to be lenient in that.
He explained that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous evaluation by the competent health authorities, according to the developments in the epidemiological situation.
