Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp announced that Trent Alexander-Arnold, right-back of the team, will continue to miss Manchester City’s Premier League match.
Liverpool will host Manchester City at Anfield next Sunday in the seventh week of the English Premier League.
“There is no news,” Klopp said, in comments carried by Liverpool’s official website when asked if he had an update on the recovery of Alexander-Arnold and Thiago Alcantara.
“It means the players are doing well, but they won’t have enough time to come back against City, but I expect both of them to come back after the international break.”
“But we have a good squad, so we still have solutions and we have to use them, and yes after the international break I think the players will come back.”
It is noteworthy that Alexander-Arnold missed the match against Porto in the Champions League due to a muscle problem, in the meeting that the Reds won 5-1 last Tuesday.
