The government today (Friday) approved in a telephone poll the recommendation of the Ministry of Health’s countries classification committee to shorten the validity of regulations, and therefore Bulgaria, Brazil and Turkey are removed from 4/10 from the list of red countries, so there will be no countries on the red list.
As mentioned, the Minister of Construction and Housing, Zeev Elkin, demanded today that a telephone poll be held regarding the decision to stop using recovery and vaccinated certificates, but instead stipulate that only a green passport with a barcode should be used, and a barcode scan must be entered at any body or business with a green mark. For, on Sunday, the new green label, which is intended only for those vaccinated in the third dose, is expected to take effect.
Despite the minister’s opposition, cabinet members voted by a majority in a telephone poll in favor of approving a barcode scan requirement upon presentation of a green sign at the entrance to businesses. However, and at the request of a number of cabinet members, the Prime Minister will bring the issue up for discussion and further voting in the Corona Cabinet to be held this coming Sunday.
