Logicom Distribution, the regional distributor of technology solutions and services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, announced the signing of a strategic agreement with Dell Technologies, ahead of its anticipated participation in the 2021 edition of GITEX Technology Week.

After successful cooperation in the GCC and the positive impact of Logicom’s marketing of Dell Technologies’ commercial desktops, laptops, workstations, thin clients, servers and storage solutions in these markets, the two companies have agreed to expand their partnership to the UAE United. The new agreement will allow Logicom to provide industry-leading solutions for its Dell Technologies channel in server and storage space.

In this context, Spyros Rafailowitz, General Manager, UAE and Gulf at Logicom Distribution, said: “Logicom has maintained a strong and sustainable presence in the region for more than two decades by forging strategic partnerships and building a strong partner network. Our core capabilities revolve around adding value to sellers, creating and increasing reach and promoting awareness. We look forward to delivering the same high standards this year and in the years to come, to provide our partners with the required solutions and services across all market segments in the MENA region.

Through this collaboration, Dell Technologies will be able to continue its commitment to helping companies in their digital transformation journey. In addition, the value-added services provided by Logicom, including supply chain and warehousing capabilities, mentoring financial support, strong partner base and access, as well as partner recruitment and empowerment, will serve as additional factors to drive business success.

This collaboration will also enhance Logicom’s offering in the value-added space, as the distributor continues to provide its partner community with best-in-class products from major technology vendors. This partnership will also allow Logicom to provide additional support to the channel including basic and advanced product training and certification, proof of concept, and technical support for tender and bid documents.

The value of digital transformation is expected to grow to $2.8 billion by 2025 in the Middle East and North Africa, according to the 2021 to 2030 MENA Digital Transformation Market Report published by Kenneth Research, a leading global consulting and advisory firm. It tracks digital trends around the world.

Logicom’s plans for GITEX Technology Week, scheduled for October 17-21, 2021, include new announcements of deals and partnerships as well as keynote presentations from existing partners at its booth in Hall 3, F1 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
