Former President Reuven Ruby Rivlin left the presidency on July 7 (three months ago) and was recently appointed president of Electrion Whirls (a company that develops equipment for wireless charging of electric vehicles), and serves as honorary chairman of the Israel Democracy Institute.
Rivlin, who arrived at the “Turquoise” restaurant in Tel Aviv last week, was asked, like everyone else, to present a green sign at the entrance, but according to eyewitnesses, the former president “raised an eyebrow” following the request. This is according to a report in the Maariv newspaper.
But the former president’s immediate entourage vehemently denies the incident and claims that: “The tenth president makes sure to always carry his vaccine card with him and present it when required, as any person should do. Any other claim is not true.”
