The colt “Mahatma Rush” and the filly “Osiris Rush” were crowned champions of the Stallions Cup races, which were held at the Cidad Jardim track, in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, under the patronage of the Racing Festival of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Al Wathba Stallions Cup series is held, under the directives and support of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, with the aim of supporting and disseminating purebred Arabian horse racing in Europe and America, and promoting the heritage of the Emirates.
For the first race of 1,300 meters, for the Al Wathba Stallions Cup title, 11 three-year-old fillies met, and the filly “Osiris Rush” successfully defended her title, which she achieved last year.
“Joanne AGR” came in second place, while “Revolution AGR” came in third place.
Mahatma Rush won the Al Wathba Stallions Cup for the Grand Prix with the participation of 10 three-year-olds over a distance of 1,400 metres, beating last year’s champion Mentor Rush, while RJ the Pak, who won two races this year, came third.
It is worth noting that the two races of the Al Wathba Stallions Cup for fillies and foals, in which the famous Brazilian jockey Jorge Ricardo, who holds the world record of 13,127 victories, participated.
This year, Brazil hosted four Al Wathba Cup races, two for foals and two for foals, and the first two Grand Prix Cup races were held on May 1.
