France is a new station to promote quality investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia
The Saudi government continues to travel to developed European countries within the framework of a deep promotion of attractive quality projects and investment opportunities in the country. Yesterday, from the French capital, Paris, it began an official visit by Saudi Minister of Investment, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih.
Yesterday, the ministry announced that the visit comes to enhance investment and economic cooperation in many fields, at a time when the minister is accompanied by a high-level Saudi delegation from a number of government agencies, national companies and representatives of the private sector.
According to his plans, during the visit, Al-Falih will meet with French government officials and heads of major French companies in 10 key sectors including industry, energy, water, education, digitization, healthcare, life sciences, transportation, logistics, mining, minerals, tourism and hospitality.
The visit aims to further enhance the investment relations between the two countries by taking full advantage of the unprecedented opportunities offered by the “Kingdom 2030” vision, in addition to introducing French officials and executive leaders to the achievements made under the umbrella of the Saudi vision, through legislative reforms and vision realization programs. As well as the intensive support of the Kingdom’s leadership and government to enhance the investment environment and system in the country.
Al-Falih explained that the visit comes to strengthen bilateral investment relations between the two sides, stressing that the Kingdom’s economy has become open to national and foreign investments, at an unprecedented pace and size, which provides profitable investment opportunities in a variety of sectors, and there are many French companies with large investments in several sectors. . “I look forward to welcoming more French companies and investors to the Kingdom, both in traditional sectors and in new and promising sectors,” he added.
During this visit, it is expected that a memorandum of understanding will be concluded between the “National Companies Entrepreneurship Program” at the Ministry of Investment and the “Business France” program, which aims to focus on strengthening bilateral investment relations, building long-term partnerships between the private sector in the Kingdom and France and expanding its scope. .
It is noteworthy that this official visit to France comes in the wake of a series of continuous communication between officials of the two countries, to encourage mutual trade and investment relations, including a visit to the Kingdom made earlier this year by a high-level business delegation from France headed by the Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Attraction Economist Frank Riester.
Al-Falih will continue his previous, fruitful and constructive talks with Riester, and he will also participate in the Saudi-French Business Forum organized by the French Business Confederation during the delegation’s visit. It is worth noting that the bilateral relationship between the Kingdom and France has reached more than ninety years, and there are more than 300 French companies operating in the Kingdom.
