Mahmoud Al-Khatib, Chairman of Al-Ahly Club and supervisor of the football sector, decided to deduct three hundred thousand pounds from each player in the first team after losing the local Super Cup title.

Al-Ahly lost 2-3 to Tala’a El-Gaish on penalties in the Egyptian Super Cup match.

And the official Al-Ahly website said: “Based on the club’s constants and in light of the great support that is being provided to the first football team system to achieve the ambitions of Al-Ahly and its fans.”

He added, “Mahmoud Al-Khatib, Chairman of the Al-Ahly Club Board of Directors and supervisor of the football sector, decided to deduct three hundred thousand pounds from each player in the first team after losing the local Super Cup.”

It was also decided to deduct the same from the football manager and every member of the technical staff. And percentages of the rest of the administrative and medical staff, according to their salaries, after the team’s performance in the super match this evening. Which was not at all commensurate with the great technical capabilities of these players and their technical, administrative and medical staff.

And also to take some other measures in the same direction until each element returns to provide the return that the club and its fans deserve.
