According to Dr. Doron Netzer, Head of the Medical Division at Clalit’s Community Division: “In the past week, we have been working with Clalit to complete the preparations to ensure the provision of regeneration in the homes of Corona patients. It is a drug that can save lives and prevent a serious illness if given at an early stage. “
In addition, according to Prof. Ran Blitzer, director of Clalit’s innovation division: “In light of the quantity limit set by the Ministry of Health, the main challenge was to determine the objective priority of those infected in a mild condition according to the risk of deteriorating to a severe condition.
Prof. Ran Blitzer also says that Clalit has developed a predictive model for deterioration in Corona based on artificial intelligence, and began implementing it in the field as early as March 2020.
Prof. Blitzer added: “The new model ranks transparently and objectively according to the points of those with the highest medical chance of deteriorating to a serious illness based on a simple weighting for calculation of medical risk factors, previous hospitalizations, vaccination with corona vaccine, patient age and more. “Delta and the effects of the vaccine. The model is available to all health insurance funds to ensure early treatment for patients who need it.”
