Cairo – (Masrawy):
Moein Al-Shaabani, the new coach of the Al-Masry Al-Port Said team, sent a message to Ahmed Refaat, the coastal team player, regarding his absence from training.
Al-Shaabani said in statements on the “On Time Sports 1” screen: “I know that Ahmed Refaat is one of the stars of the team, but he must respect his contract, as he is a professional player. The administration did not fall short, and this problem must be resolved.”
And about the pressures he will go through with Al-Masry, he replied: “I am used to pressure, whether in terms of matches or results with the Esperance team, but Moin Al-Shaabani alone will not be able to achieve anything.”
He continued, “After my departure from Esperance, I decided to get a rest, but the Egyptian management stuck to my contract, along with positive messages from my friends in Egypt about leading the team.”
Moein Al-Shaabani had announced his contract with the Egyptian club Al-Portsaidi after the departure of Ali Maher, where the Tunisian coach will lead the coastal team for one season with the option to renew for another season.
It is worth noting that Moein Al-Shaabani, his last training stop, was led by the Tunisian sports team, Esperance, to win the African Champions League title twice (2018 and 2019).
