The industrial sector in Lebanon is suffering under a stifling economic crisis, as factories have closed their doors and heavy losses are incurred by the sector.
Pioneers assert that the industrial sector is on the verge of complete collapse, and in vain tries to satisfy its customers.
There is no import, and 60 percent of the factories have closed their doors, everyone is moaning, and the clothing industry has lost its pioneers after the local labor force decreased.
Some factories are transformed into restaurants or small shops until things change.
Elie Youssef, one of the industrialists, is trying hard to transform industries into a craft industry due to the diesel crisis. But in vain, things came to the brink of complete collapse.
What can be concluded is that the Lebanese industry is in decline, and the sector can hardly continue after the economic crisis in which the entire country is floundering.
