Russian warplanes launched new raids on the Jabal Al-Zawiya area in the southern countryside of Idlib, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Wednesday.

The observatory pointed out that the town of Kansafra and its outskirts was subjected to 4 air raids, without information about casualties so far.

This brings the number of Russian raids on the “de-escalation” area since the beginning of September to 167, distributed 122 air raids on Idlib governorate, 25 air raids on the northern countryside of Lattakia governorate, two raids on the countryside of Hama governorate, and 18 airstrikes on different locations in the governorate Aleppo.

On the other hand, the Syrian Observatory noted that “settlement” operations continued within the town of Tal Al-Shehab in the western countryside of Daraa, in the south of the country, for the second day in a row.

He said that the number of those who agreed to a settlement with the Syrian regime rose to about 400, including civilians required for compulsory and reserve service in the regime forces.

Inspections will also be conducted after that and the redeployment of the regime forces in the town and its surroundings, and this comes within the framework of the agreement concluded between the security committee of the regime and the notables of Tel Shehab under Russian auspices.

Yesterday evening, Tuesday, the Syrian Observatory indicated that hundreds of citizens settled their status in the town of Tal Shehab in the countryside of Daraa, and handed over their weapons, while the number of people covered by the settlement reached more than 300 people.
