Born in 1994, she is the last to win the title in the last edition of the competition, and the first winner of the competition after its hiatus after the January 25 revolution. Lara won the crown 28 years after her aunt Hoda Abboud was crowned with the same crown.
– Sarah El Khouly 2011
She was born on February 15, 1988 in Cairo, of Egyptian and Croatian origin and grew up in Dubai. Sarah was crowned Miss Egypt on July 7, 2010 in Cairo. At the time of her coronation, she was a student at the American University of Sharjah, and represented Egypt in the 2010 Miss World competition, which was held in Sanya, China.
