Wael Gomaa, the new coach of Egypt’s national team, revealed a special request by Carlos Queiroz, the new coach, for the assistant staff.
Gomaa said in statements to Ontime Sports 2: “Carlos Queiroz asked for this request as a text. He said I want a report on any Egyptian player who plays anywhere in the world.”
“Queiroz will have three foreign assistants with him, and a fourth assistant will be present in the camps only,” he added.
Carlos Queiroz assumed the position of coach of the Egyptian national team, succeeding Hossam El-Badri, who was sacked.
Egypt is preparing for the two matches against Libya next October, in the third and fourth rounds of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
