The Libyan Ministry of Interior confirmed that the Ras Jedir border crossing was opened yesterday morning, Friday, in front of the transit movement between Libya and Tunisia.

The ministry said in a statement on its website that the crossing was opened “based on what was announced regarding the reopening of the border crossings between Libya and Tunisia.”

And she called for adherence to the “agreed health protocol to confront the Corona pandemic, for the safety of all.”

Mosaique FM reported that “the movement is very slow at the crossing due to the health conditions imposed by the two countries in their recent agreement on reopening the borders, which requires that travelers from both sides have completed vaccination, with the obligation to show a negative PCR analysis, In the absence of this condition, they are required to enter into a compulsory quarantine in hotels at their expense.
