For their part, the young man’s relatives told Al Arabiya.net that the body will be transported tomorrow, Saturday, from Malpensa Airport in Milan, on an EgyptAir cargo flight scheduled to take off at seven in the evening.
For his part, the Minister of Manpower, Mohamed Saafan, instructed the Ministry’s Labor Representation Office at the Egyptian Consulate in Milan, to follow up on the return of the young man’s body and family entitlements to the Italian Insurance and Pensions Authority.
Natural or criminal?
Saafan had received a report through the labor attaché in Milan, Mahmoud Hamzawi, in which he indicated that there is a criminal suspicion in the death of Islam Eid al-Tabbakh, as the Italian authorities found him dead in front of a farm next to the railway tracks, 4 kilometers from the city of Lodi, and transferred him to a hospital. Hamzawy also made it clear that he will attend the Egyptian Consulate in Milan to hand over the papers related to the deceased, including the hospital report and the Italian death certificate as soon as they are obtained from the authorities, pointing out that the Egyptian authorities will clarify the causes of death and indicate whether they are natural or criminal, in preparation for sending the final report.
