Salah told Liverpool’s official website, “Thank you, I think it’s a good start for us, we wanted to achieve the full mark in the August matches.”
Liverpool had won in the first two rounds at the expense of Norwich City and Burnley, before a draw in the third round against Chelsea, 1-1.
Salah answered his favorite goal: “I can’t choose, my goal at Chelsea was good, but I think the goal that I influenced was at Manchester United.”
Salah managed to reach 100 goals in the Premier League with his goal, which came at Leeds United in the fourth round, in a meeting that the “Reds” won 3-0.
Liverpool is preparing for a meeting this evening when it hosts AC Milan, in the first round of the Champions League group stage.
