In the first round, Sharjah led the second group standings with 11 points from six matches, compared to 10 points for the Iranian Traktor, 7 for the Uzbek Pakhtakor and two points for the Iraqi Air Force.

On the other hand, Al Wahda finished second in Group E with 13 points from six matches, two points behind Iran’s Persepolis, compared to 3 points for India’s Goa and two points for Qatar’s Rayyan.

It is worth noting that all matches in the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League will be played in a knockout system of one match only, and not in the home and away system.
