A 40-year-old man drowned today (Monday) on the separate beach in Bat Yam. He was pulled from the water unconscious and in a critical condition, was rushed to Wolfson Hospital where doctors were forced to determine his death. Police have opened an investigation.
MDA reported that at 15:07, a report was received at Hotline 101 about a man who was pulled unconscious from the water on the separate beach in Bat Yam. MDA medic Ofek Elzam said: “We quickly performed medical tests on him, he was without a pulse and without breathing and we began to perform advanced resuscitation operations on him, which included massages and resuscitations.
Meanwhile, the Israel Police Maritime Police Unit today rescued two adults and four children in front of Frishman Beach in Tel Aviv who were swept away in a damaged boat near the breakwater and could not sail back safely. No casualties were reported.
