The prices of digital currencies varied, today, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, and the bitcoin (the most famous in the world) rose, while the Cardeno currency declined.
Bitcoin BTC (the most famous digital currency in the world) consolidated yesterday’s gains, rising by 1.74%, and its market value exceeds $991.550 billion, and the trading volume in the last 24 hours jumped to about $41.078 billion, by 7:11 am GMT.
Bitcoin’s rise in recent days has been accompanied by investor bets that the prospect of increased stimulus spending in the United States will lead to greater gains, and that more mainstream financial services firms have taken steps to invest in the emerging asset class.
Bitcoin has gained about 82% since hitting its lowest level this year at $27,700 in January.
Also last week, the price of virtual currencies rose at a time when global companies continued to recognize Bitcoin as a payment currency for the services of these companies, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
AMC, which operates cinemas in America, announced last Tuesday that it will be technically ready to accept Bitcoin for reservations for theater tickets by the end of this year.
Virtual currencies do not have a serial number and are not under the control of governments and central banks, like traditional currencies, but are only dealt with over the Internet, without a physical presence.
