The Ministry of Health published the morbidity data this evening (Saturday), which show that 9,739 were diagnosed as positive for Corona from yesterday, out of about 150,000 tests performed, so that the percentage of positive infections is 6.91%.

The number of severe patients stands at 677 and 157 respirators. The number of deaths since the outbreak of the virus has risen to 7,153 and the number of vaccinated in the third dose is 2,573,020.
Also tonight, the Ministry of Health updated the gathering guidelines for the holidays, chief among them, a green sign check in synagogues that contain over 50 worshipers. In addition, between the holidays, the PCR tests will be valid for 96 hours. Activities at the Western Wall will be allowed under occupancy limits of 8,000 people, in 15 separate capsules.
Earlier today, Professor Galia Rahav, Director of the infectious diseases unit at Sheba Hospital – Tel Hashomer, said she believes that “children under the age of 12 will be vaccinated in Israel by the end of 2021.” Professor Rahav made the remarks at a “cultural” event held in Be’er Sheva.
