Amir Tawfiq, the club’s contracting director, announced the return of the duo, Ahmed Abdel Qader and Ammar Hamdi, to the team’s ranks, after the end of their loan to Smouha and Al Ittihad clubs.
Tawfik added, in statements to Al-Ahly’s official website: “The return of the duo came after the level they appeared at last season, and according to the vision of the technical staff and the Planning Committee, and in coordination with Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president.”
He explained: “The technical staff is always keen to follow up on the loaned players, explaining that the return of Ahmed Abdel Qader and Ammar Hamdi confirms the success of the club’s policy in recent years, which aims to loan some players to gain them more experience before returning again to Al-Ahly.”
Ammar Hamdi spent last season on loan from Al-Ahly Club to Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria, while Ahmed Abdel Qader spent on loan from the Red Castle team in the ranks of Smouha Club of Alexandria.
