The families of the martyrs of the Beirut port explosion carried out the monthly stand in front of the port, demanding truth and justice, and waving to escalate.
The families of the martyrs declared that “it is enough to disregard our cause and the Supreme Council for the Trial of Presidents and Ministers is a big lie. What happened on August 4 is a described crime, not a dysfunction.”
In a speech delivered by their spokesman, the people said: “13 months after the explosion, some people are still unashamedly hiding behind political and sectarian immunities without taking into account the feelings of the martyrs’ families.”
He added, “We decided to implement sudden and painful moves that you will see at the time, so that no one would think of obliterating or wasting our case, and we renew the demand that everyone appear before the judicial investigator. They kept the case away from politics and politicization.”
